User Guide

Body Background Images

1. Create a PNG image named “background1.png” … “background30.png”.
2. Open RapidWeaver and select View > Show Themes from the menu bar.
3. Right-click on the Sophisticate theme in the Themes Library panel and choose “Reveal Theme Contents in Finder”.
4. In the resultant Finder window, move your PNG image into the /Contents/images/editable_images/ directory.
5. In RapidWeaver, open the Page Inspector > Styles panel. Toggle the Website - Background Image variation and select the appropriate background image to use (Background 1 to Background 30).

Banner Images

1. Create a JPG image named “image1.jpg” … “image30.jpg” that is 200px tall and as wide as your selected layout width.
2. Open RapidWeaver and select View > Show Themes from the menu bar.
3. Right-click on the Sophisticate theme in Themes Library panel and choose “Reveal Theme Contents in Finder”.
4. In the resultant Finder window, move your JPG image into the /Contents/images/editable_images/ directory.
5. In RapidWeaver, open the Page Inspector > Styles panel. Toggle the Website - Banner Image variation and select the appropriate banner image to use (Banner 1 to Banner 30).

RapidSearch Integration (RapidSearch plugin sold separately)

1. Insert your Website URL in the Site > Show Site Setup panel.
2. Create a new RapidSearch page at the top of your website hierarchy tree.
3. Ensure the RapidSearch page’s Folder Name is “search” and File Name is “index.html”.

ExtraContent Regions

Sophisticate provides built-in support for ExtraContent enabling you to insert custom markup in various locations in your RapidWeaver website. For more information about ExtraContent, visit the ExtraContent website. The ExtraContent regions in the Sophisticate theme are:

1. Above page content

3. Above sidebar menu

Does Sophisticate include the jQuery Javascript framework?

Yes. Sophisticate includes the latest jQuery framework from Google’s content delivery network.

Does Sophisticate use HTML5?

Yes. Sophisticate uses HTML5 markup.

Does Sophisticate work in Internet Explorer?

Yes. Sophisticate works flawlessly in Internet Explorer 9. Internet Explorer 7 and 8 also work perfectly; however, Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8 do not support CSS rounded corners. Sophisticate provides minimal support for Internet Explorer 6; however, Internet Explorer 6 does not support transparent PNG images.
