jQuery Interactive Zoomable Map Plugin

Joel Sutherland of New Media Campaigns has published an interactive and zoomable map plugin for jQuery. This plugin allows you to create points on a map that, when clicked, display a popup window with related information. You can also define clickable areas on the map that can zoom and enlarge with a smooth animation. This plugin is very extensible and perfect for adding an extra layer of interest and dimension to any website.

Weblog and Tutorial RSS Feeds

My weblog and tutorial RSS feeds may not be accurate for the next two or three days. It will take up to 72 hours for my DNS changes to propagate. Until then, FeedBurner may continue displaying my old RSS feeds. Please be patient while I resolve these remaining issues with my new website. After the DNS changes propagate, you will be able to successfully subscribe to the following RSS feeds:

I am now on SliceHost (and love it)

For three years I have suffered used DreamHost to host my website. And for three years I experienced downtime, slow servers, and bizarre newsletters. Not any more. I am now a very happy customer with SliceHost. I have my own virtual private server (VPS) running Ubuntu with complete control over Apache, PHP, Ruby, and any other programs with which I want to experiment.

SliceHost does require you to have adequate knowledge of the command line. However, SliceHost provides a wonderful and robust Articles section on their website to help get you started. Check it out!
