Frequently Asked Questions
Can I disable the background images?
Yes. You can use the Theme Variations to disable the background image.
Will the background image work in Internet Explorer 6?
Not by default. The background images bundled with Satin are tiled transparent PNG images that will not work in Internet Explorer 6. However, I do provide a screencast video tutorial detailing how to customize your own body background images for Internet Explorer 6.

Installation
- Download your purchase to your computer. This will be a ZIP file.
- Double-click the downloaded ZIP file to expand its contents.
- Double-click the .rwtheme or .rwplugin file that was in the ZIP file.
- Restart RapidWeaver.

- RapidWeaver 3.6+ (4.0+ recommended)
- Javascript-enabled web browser
Custom Banner Images
You may use up to 20 custom page banners with Satin. Follow these instructions to create and install a custom banner with Satin.
- Create a banner image that is 200px tall and the same width as your layout (if your layout is 800px wide, your image should be 800px wide).
- Save your image as a JPEG image, with a “.jpg” extension, into the directory satin.rwtheme/Contents/images/editable_images/.
- Right-click “satin.rwtheme” and choose “Show Package Contents” to view the contents of the Satin theme.
- Save your image as “banner#.jpg”, where “#” is 1, 2, 3, ... or 20. For example, you might save an image called “banner15.jpg”.
- Restart RapidWeaver, and select the appropriate banner image in the Theme Variation panel.
If you wish to use an image that is not 200px tall, you must override the default banner height with the following custom CSS (adjusted to your preferences):
