Installation
- Download your purchase to your computer. This will be a ZIP file.
- Double-click the downloaded ZIP file to expand its contents.
- Double-click the .rwtheme or .rwplugin file that was in the ZIP file.
- Restart RapidWeaver.
System Requirements
- Mac OS X 10.4+
- RapidWeaver 3.6+ (4.0+ recommended)
Custom Banner Images
You may use 15 custom banner images with Milano. Follow these directions to create and install a custom banner image.
- Create an image that is 800px wide and 180px tall.
- Save your image as a JPEG image, with a “.jpg” extension, into the directory milano.rwtheme/Contents/images/editable_images/.
- Right-click “milano.rwtheme” and choose “Show Package Contents” to view the contents of the Milano theme.
- Save your image as “logo#.jpg”, where “#” is 1, 2, 3, ... or 15. For example, you might save an image called “logo8.jpg”.
- Restart RapidWeaver, and select the appropriate banner image and size in the Theme Variations panel.
Milano 5 Upgrade Instructions
Upgrade Option 1: Clean install
- Download and double-click the theme update ZIP file to your computer
- Double-click the .rwtheme file that was inside of the ZIP file
- Re-start RapidWeaver and select “Milano 5” from the Theme library in RapidWeaver
Upgrade Option 2: Replace existing theme
- Backup your existing Milano .rwtheme file
- Download and double-click the theme update ZIP file to your computer
- Double-click the .rwtheme file that was inside of the ZIP file
- Locate “~/Library/Application Support/RapidWeaver/milano5.rwtheme”
- Right-click on this file and choose “Show Package Contents”
- In the resultant Finder, open “/Contents/Theme.plist” in a plain text editor
- Scroll to the bottom of the file
- Change the “RWThemeName” key’s value to “Milano”
- Change the “RWThemeShortName” key’s value to “milano”
- Save the file and restart RapidWeaver
