Apples to Oranges Theme Released

I am pleased to announce my new RapidWeaver theme — Apples to Oranges! This new theme introduces a refreshing new design and a plethora of theme variations and color pickers. Apples to Oranges was first devised as a custom RapidWeaver theme for the Mac User Group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At that time, my partner (Justin Fleming) and I set out to create a fun and versatile RapidWeaver theme. We then elected to release a modified version of our theme to the RapidWeaver community. And I now present to you the result of our hard work — Apples to Oranges! Read More...

Silk Horizontal Theme Mod Available Now

Silk has gone horizontal!

Many of my Silk customers have requested a new version of my Silk theme that implements a second horizontal menu where the breadcrumbs currently are displayed in the regular Silk theme. I have listened to your requests, and today I have released a new theme mod for Silk 4.1 that implements a second horizontal menu replacing the breadcrumb bar. The breadcrumbs are relocated in the website footer. This theme mod does not affect my regular Silk 4.1 theme. This theme mod is provided as an optional, separate and individual theme file with every Silk purchase. This theme mod includes everything the regular Silk theme provides along with a second horizontal menu.

How can you get this theme mod?

This is a free theme mod for all Silk customers. If you have purchased Silk in the past, you can use my contact form to request this theme mod, and I will personally deliver it to you via email. This theme mod will come bundled with all future Silk purchases.

Silk 4.1 Horizontal Menu Theme Mod

I will also be releasing a theme mod for Silk 4.1 this weekend that will implement a second horizontal menu level where the breadcrumbs currently reside. The breadcrumb links will be shifted to the footer. This will not affect my current Silk theme. This theme mod will be provided as a separate and independent theme file with all Silk purchases. For all customers who have already purchased Silk, I will not be sending an email with a new download link. Since only a minority of my Silk customers have requested this mod, I ask that anyone interested in this theme mod email me directly using my contact form.

Accepting Beta Testers

I am accepting new beta testers.

If you would like to join my beta testing team, please use my contact form to send me your name and email. Be sure to include in your message that you are applying to be a beta tester for my RapidWeaver themes, and please note any experience you have with websites, RapidWeaver, HTML, or CSS. These are not requirements, but familiarity with websites (or with RapidWeaver) is a plus. Unfortunately, I may not be able to reply to all requests. If I do not respond to your beta testing request, I do offer my apologies in advance.

What is a beta tester?

If accepted as a beta tester, you are expected to thoroughly examine and use my beta products and report any issues, problems, or suggestions that you have during the testing process. Usually, the beta testing process for a given product lasts no longer than one week. As a beta tester, I will deliver four to five beta versions of a product before final release. I ask that my beta testers view my products in as many web browsers as possible, including Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer 6, and Internet Explorer 7. In return for your help as a beta tester I am more than happy to provide my products free of charge to my beta testing team.

Apply now!

You can submit your beta tester application with my contact form. Thanks!
